Where to Eat in Nashville

If you will be in town visiting, welcome to Music City! If you’re familiar with Nashville or you’re a resident — this post is for you as well! Below are our top brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert options in Nashville!

Garden Brunch Cafe*
924 Jefferson St, Nashville, TN 37208
Friday-Sunday: 9am – 2pm

The sausage and bacon are non-pork options and you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. Walk around and check out all of the art on the walls while you wait to be seated.

417 Union
417 Union St, Nashville, TN 37219
Friday-Sunday 7am – 2pm

Head to 417 Union on the weekend for brunch. Chicken and waffles is our go-to order here. If you’re staying downtown it is probably within walking distance. Otherwise, opt for Lyft because there aren’t many parking options nearby.

Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack*
5814 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211
Thursday 11AM–10PM
Friday 11AM-12AM
Saturday 11:30AM-12AM
Sunday Closed

You can’t really say you’ve visited Nashville if you didn’t try Hot Chicken from the originators. Skip the long lines at other Hot Chicken imitators and head to their south Nashville location for your Hot Chicken fix. We personally order mild breast quarters, but the tenders are good as well.

Tazikis Mediteranean Caffe
3001 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203
Thursday-Sunday 11AM–9PM

We love fresh food and Tazikis is a good option for fresh Mediterranean food. On weekends they have a pasta salad with chicken and a balsamic vinaigrette. We also enjoy the rollups and the kebob feasts with rice or potatoes.

The Cake Project*
1006 Fatherland St Suite 207, Nashville, TN 37206
Thursday-Saturday 11am – 6pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm

If you’re in the mood for dessert, head to The Cake Project for the best cheesecake in town! They have over 40 different flavors of cheesecake, from classic strawberry to banana pudding and key lime pie, served in cute little mason jars. If you can’t pick one flavor like us, opt for the cheesecake bites boxes so you can try 4 different flavors at once.

The Cupcake Collection*
1213 6th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208
Thursday 9:30AM–6PM
Friday 9:30AM–4:30PM
Saturday-Sunday Closed

Located in Germantown, you’ll want to get to The Cupcake Collection early and during the week for flavors such as wedding cake, strawberry, and red velvet.

Slim n Husky’s*
911 Buchanan St, Nashville, TN 37208
Thursday 10:30AM–10PM
Friday-Saturday 10:30AM–11PM
Sunday Closed

Build your own pizza or choose from one of their signature artisan pizzas like P.R.E.A.M. or California Love. Good music, art and sometimes even a movie playing.
Make sure to stop in the bathrooms for even more art.

Stoney River
3015 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203
Thursday-Friday 5–10PM
Saturday 4–10PM
Sunday 11AM–9PM

We love a good steak, and can usually count on Stoney River for a good ribeye. If you go for happy hour or enjoy appetizers, the steak rolls are delicious!

We hope you enjoy Nashville & all the yummy food it has to offer!
